Internet Introduction

Prerequisite

Computer Introduction 2 class or equivalent experience with Windows PCs.

Course Description

This course will cover the basics of using the Internet. Learn how to use this great resource for communication, information and business. Students will set up Internet access on their home computers. We will also set up email accounts and practice sending, receiving and replying to email messages. We will surf the world wide web and learn how to find the information we need and evaluate the quality of what we find. Students will also learn how to purchase things online and how to avoid online fraud.
