Golden Canyon

Golden Canyon is a little canyon in the east wall of Death Valley just a few miles south of Furnace Ck Campground (topo map). The golden rocks that characterize this canyon were produced from muddy sediments deposited at the bottom of a lake.

Jim, Bruce & Irene. Betty's film camera captured the colors of the canyon better than I did with my digital camera. I'll have to look into using software to readjust the colors of the other pictures. BHIMG025.jpg
